The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have far reaching impact on our clients, referrers and staff, their families and communities. We remain committed to helping ensure the health and safety of all people in our broader networks.
We have sought to maintain a ‘business as usual’ approach whilst ensuring the wellbeing of our people remained paramount. The firm has applied government guidelines pertaining to social distancing and restricting visitations, among other things. We have triggered our remote working capabilities to ensure our service standards and client interests are not compromised.
The Board has decided in the face of Government and community concerns that our office should be closed temporarily. This is effective from tonight, Friday 27 March 2020.
Our Business Continuity Plan, which includes the delivery of legal service across our remote working platform, will include the following measures:
All Principals and other key staff members have portable devices that are continually connected to the firm’s systems and platforms.
A single point of contact for each department within the firm to ensure transparency of employees’ health and to resource matters accordingly.
Expansion of video and telephone conferencing facilities so as to create a virtual meeting/office, when required.
Firm wide implementation of a crisis communication platform to ensures staff are abreast of firm announcements regarding the situation.
What this means for you?
These are unprecedented times for the firm, but we are not alone. With the measures implemented above, we have the necessary framework to continue working alongside our clients and referrers.
We are striving for continuity during this time and any matters currently on hand and/or those with a strict timeframe will be given priority.
