Sladen Legal are a signatory to the Minds Count TJMF Workplace Wellbeing: Best Practice Guidelines for the Legal Profession. It is recognised that all legal workplaces are stressful and it has been shown that legal professionals are disproportionately at risk of suffering from psychological distress and illness. The Guidelines are intended to support lawyers, law firms and others working within the profession to raise awareness of mental health issues, and to assist in the creation and maintenance of psychologically healthy and supportive workplaces.

The Guidelines identify a set of 13 workplace factors which significantly shape an individual’s experience of psychological safety and wellbeing at work. Sladen Legal focus on these factors when constructing a psychologically safe workplace environment.

In becoming a signatory Sladen Legal and its management commit themselves to honouring and upholding the principles and spirit of the Guidelines and endeavour to implement the Guidelines to the best of their ability, for the betterment of the Organisation and the people within it.
