Sladen Legal Graduate Program

Our graduate program provides a well rounded program which focuses on advancing both your business skills and legal knowledge.

We are looking for future leaders of the firm who

• has strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;

Our graduate program runs for 12 months.  In addition to in-house training and mentoring you will also participate in the College of Law program on a part time basis which will assist you in meeting the required competencies for admission to practice.

We usually offer a rotation in two of our practice areas. You will be provided with a direct supervisor/mentor who is usually a senior lawyer practising in one of those practice areas.

We prefer applications from final year students; that is, those commencing their final semester in 2025 who are eligible to commence as a graduate in 2026.

Applications for the 2027 graduate program open at 10am on Friday 7 August 2026 and close at 11.59 on Sunday 23 August 2026.

Offers for Grad roles will be made no earlier that 10am Wednesday 30 September 2026.
