Phil Broderick

Phil heads Sladen Legal’s superannuation and state taxes teams. He is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), a SMSF Specialist Advisor (SSA) and a member (and past member) of multiple superannuation related committees. Phil is a regular author and presenter. He frequently liaises with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and Treasury in relation the implementation and administration of the superannuation laws.

Phil’s clients include private business owners, accountants, financial planners, self managed superannuation fund (SMSF) trustees and high and medium net worth individuals. He has also acted for industry and retail superannuation funds.

Phil prides himself in providing solutions and structuring for clients in a holistic manner taking into account each client’s situation and structure.

Victor is a principal in the property and development area and works closely with Sladen Legal’s many property and investment clients.

When assisting clients on technical and complex negotiations with other parties, Victor brings a problem solving and outcome-driven approach to the table. His dedication to providing a highly personalised level of service and to achieving strong commercial outcomes, has seen him establish trusted and long lasting commercial relationships with many of his clients.

Victor has wide ranging experience in property law services across commercial, industrial and residential property and in 2005 was recognised for his proficiency in property law when he was named the Law Council of Australia’s Victorian Young Property Lawyer of the Year.

Thomas Abraham
Senior Associate
Business Law

Thomas is a Senior Associate in the Business Law team and specialises in state taxation advice and litigation.

Prior to commencing at Sladen Legal, Thomas spent a number of years working as a solicitor in the Legal Services Branch of the State Revenue Office of Victoria, where he conducted litigation on behalf of the Commissioner of State Revenue in various state taxation matters.

Thomas continues to draw on his experience at the State Revenue Office of Victoria as well as in private practice by specialising in state taxation matters.
