Legal Assistant
Sladen Legal is a leading commercial law firm seeking a highly organised Legal Assistant to join our Melbourne CBD office on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to support lawyers across the firm, providing high-quality administrative and legal support in a fast-paced and professional environment. The role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactive diary management, including coordinating meetings, conferences and appointments
Managing group inboxes and incoming correspondence
Drafting, editing and formatting legal correspondence and documents
Coordinating travel and accommodation
General administrative support including printing, scanning, file management and e-filing
Opening new matters (including conflict checks and searches)
Preparing and filing legal documents
Closing and archiving files
Assisting with document management, briefs and administrative tasks as required
Liaising with clients and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
Assisting with time recording and monthly billing processes
Participating in the firm's reception back-up roster
