Ben is the principal lawyer of Sladen Legal’s Dispute Resolution team and brings with him over 20 years of experience in commercial disputes regarding corporations, small businesses, partnerships and land transactions. 

As well as providing the highest level of litigation assistance, Ben prides himself on his commitment to working closely with all his clients in a transparent and collaborative manner, ensuring that clients feel empowered to find the best possible resolution  to their disputes that minimises cost and hassle. 

Ben’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce and he is an Accredited Mediator. His litigation experience covers all Victorian jurisdictions and regularly appears for clients across a number of Victorian and Federal Courts. 

Ben has been a member of the Law Institute of Victoria’s Costs Committee since 1992 and brings to the firm valuable expertise in issues relating to legal costs and fee agreements, as well as in the taxation of legal costs in courts and tribunals, giving him a unique understanding of client concerns when it comes to the cost of legal action.
