Sladen Legal have been honoured with an international award by the BCorp community.
The award was in recognition of the contribution our firm has made in fostering relations between the BCorp community in Australia which has grown from just over 40 to over 150 companies in the past 18 months and the work Dan Simmonds and Ashleigh Wall have done as part of a working group investigating changes to the Corporations Law to acknowledge benefit corporations.
In particular, we instigated a series of lunches where BCorp managers and owners can meet and discuss issues surrounding their businesses and of course increase their networks.
Sladen Legal was honoured as the Best New International BCorp for 2016. This award is open to any BCorp in the first two years of certification.
This is an incredible acknowledgment of our firm from a worldwide organisation and the award is based on the contribution we make to our staff, the environment and our clients and broader community as well as our shareholders. As such it goes to our culture and our impact both internally and externally. We also thank our clients who support us and our company values at Sladen Legal.
