Phil Broderick has recently joined Sladen Legal as principal to lead the firm’s superannuation team. Phil previously worked for 8 years at Harwood Andrews, before joining DLA Piper in 2010.

He is thrilled to have returned to Harwood Andrews in 2013, as the firm has recently relocated to the newly built Lantern Building, while also changing the name of its Melbourne office to Sladen Legal.

“The opportunity to re-join the firm during a time of significant change was unique,” he explains. “The firm is an industry leader and a highly respected legal practice, but the new identity will define its future growth and I look forward to being a part of it.”

In his new role, Phil will lead the firm’s superannuation practice, while also providing advice in relation to tax, succession, estate planning, trusts and business structuring.

Sladen Legal’s Managing Principal, Dan Simmonds, acknowledges the experience and expertise that Phil brings to the team, and the key role that he will play in the future growth of Sladen Legal.

Phil is a member of the SISFA technical committee and the ASFA SMSF Standing Advisory Panel. He is also a Chartered Tax Adviser with The Tax Institute and a member of the Cornish College Council.

Phil Broderick is based in the new Sladen Legal office at Level 5, 707 Collins Street, Melbourne.
