About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our growing Dispute Resolution and Litigation team. This is a full-time position based in our Melbourne office (just 2 minutes from Southern Cross Station). We are open to hybrid working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.

You Will:

• Work closely with clients across a diverse range of industries to deliver tailored and innovative solutions.

• Manage a varied caseload that includes litigation in the areas predominantly of commercial, taxation, property, insolvency, franchising and corporations matters.

• Lead and mentor junior lawyers and law clerks fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Work with senior team members on large and complex matters to achieve excellent client outcomes.

• Contribute to business development initiatives and play a key role in building and maintaining client relationships and your own profile.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will:

• Hold at least 7+ years of post-qualification experience in dispute resolution and litigation.

• Have exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills and an interest in undertaking advocacy in courts or tribunals and representing clients in mediation.

• Demonstrate a proven ability to manage high-value and complex disputes with minimal supervision.

• Exhibit leadership qualities and a desire to mentor and develop junior lawyers.

• Be focused on client service and business growth.

• Be interested in developing a profile and marketing the team legal services within and external to the firm.
